36. Act not in derogation of any other law.-The provisions of this Act shall be in addition to, and not in derogation of the provisions of any other law, for the time being in force. COMMENTS :-THIS IS A CRUCIAL SECTION WHICH MAKES CLEAR ABOUT THE DOUBTS OF CLOUDS BY CLEARLY SAYING THAT THIS ACT IS NOT AGAINST ANY OTHER ACTS AND POSITIVELY STATES THAT IT IS A SISTER LAW AND HELPFUL LAW FOR ALL OTHER LAWS CIVIL/CRIMINAL LAWS.
